A fleeting visit

Had no time to write up the posts I wanted to. I want to do the 'Genesis' ( Creationism) post, the 'Saved by grace' post, an essential scripture message being underlined again and again to the Churches at the moment- a post on the kind of faith that God is looking for in these 'end times'. I am currently attending a bible college some evenings, it covers a good deal. ( Where no one is obliged into any particular end times view, incidentally.) Had a good conversation with another student; no matter what your 'end time' view, if you are born again, in Christ, you are going to heaven. ( Presumably, as a Christian, you're seriously trying to understand the full scriptures.) The Merciful God, Jesus, the Father and the Holy Ghost, loves you.

We've been looking at the book of Job, in bible college; looking at thematter of how it can happen that sometimes, satan plain old attacks and wrecks with people's lives when people of faith haven't sinned or done anything to invite such an attack. Bad stuff happening to good people. What's that about? We came up with some really interesting answers. There are very interesting aspects to the book of Job, and good explanations clarify understanding. :-) And they're good.

There's also been a chance to have a look at 'strongholds,' on the 'micro' and 'macro' level- what's it all about really? Some very good answers. ( Teaching from the other Church I told you about, both evangelical / Spirit lead churches.)

Given the recent goings on in London, a reminder of the Blair Obama situation here, with a few additions re Rome and various scholars' interesting opinions.

In the meantime, Barack Obama turns up in London for the G20 summit. A good overview here, no need to repeat anything.
Also here, finance topix. (These world leaders , all envisaging a NWO, apparently- Brown in particular-are all coming to an agreement in the space of an hour or so; what this signifies, we'll all have to see).




World banks would not be in their current crisis had they not fleeced the average Western individual to the point that he can no longer pay his way or be lent any money by their usurious selves.

And they've managed to near break themselves, these world banks. And some people are still saying that's nothing to do with the way they've treated God's laws, or his prophecies.

The promise in the scriptures of Deuteronomy for a nation that obeys God is 'you will lend to many nations, and you will borrow from none.'

Middle class protesters are out in great numbers- what a wonderful world we might live in, had protesters ever turned out to defend the world's poor in such large numbers.

Look at the fervor with which they now plead for their own business and current bank accounts. According to one report, a number have apparently turned violent in their dismay, else they're unable to cope with the April sunshine .
Further news bulletins state that police have begun numerous assaults and ructions behaved with inappropriate force and violence (article here: "rioting police".)




Obama has come over with his security car, famously nicknamed 'the beast', in tow. At Gordon Brown's offer of world renowned stylish British security, he turned up his nose.

The posters protesters are using are graphic: 'Capitalism isn't working.' Well no, it isn't, and we were never advised it:

That is the complete opposite of world capitalism, is it not. So's that whole chapter. We need to check ourselves out, the extent we are really walking in this way the Lord Jesus advises.

The OAC blog notes Gordon Brown's speech 'A New World Order is emerging.'

It transpires that there's been a unanimous agreement between G20 summit politicians to do 'whatever is necessary' to recharge the world economy. As a result, trade has been more buoyant apparently.

Here, a very interesting article on the civilian military that Obama is proposing. There is already a draft bill in the USA.

This cheesy victory 'v' sign these business and political moguls are coming up with is difficult to put up with at this time isn't it. Barack Obama made one for the press yesterday, just as if he'd managed to boost the economy without heading up further resolutions to exploit misplaced public confidence. Richard Branson's 'v' is particularly smarmy, always has been. ( Can't find a demo for the present). He has authorized a series of Virgin ads all over the London Metro mocking and deriding Christians and others who are concerned about recent world events, which tell everyone they should 'Lighten up and take it easy.'



Instead of acting the prat, he should be making serious efforts to give to the poor and asking God for forgiveness and mercy.
