Chasing the wind / the Creator's heart

Politicians and world leaders are surely foolish to the point that it catches the Heavenly Father's particular attention when they start saying they're 'with the wind of history'.

I love my Heavenly Father, in whom I believe, as a Christian.

'The Father Himself loves you.' This makes a believer want to dance for happiness.

He is so spectacular that the Old testament quote was: 'No one has seen the Father and lived'.

No one ever will see his face without redemption through Jesus, his gift. And he has given believers his Holy Spirit. He said 'Let there be light', and light there was. Light there was. Jesus' disciples said at the last supper; 'Lord, show us the Father'. Jesus' answer was 'He who has seen me has seen the Father.' ' I am in the Father, and he is in me.'

These are among my favourite words of the last supper of Jesus. 'The Father himself loves you, because you love me, and believe that I came from the Father.'

'Only the Father knows' the timing of Jesus' second coming. That's good enough for me.

Matthew 24:36 (NIV) "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

You can't catch the Father's hidden plans, his direction in his hidden plans, and no one and nothing, including his enemy, has a hope against him. He is above time and space. It makes him laugh (see the scriptures). And when he rejoices all creation he creates does. He looks at everything he does, and he sees that it is 'very good.' Solomon, with his gift of wisdom from the Father himself, couldn't catch the Father's hidden plans. He spent his life trying, according to the scriptures. And he also dismissed world politicians:

World English Bible:
"I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a chasing after wind."
Ecclesiastes 1:14

In the chilly hours and minutes of uncertainty
I want to be
In the warm hold of your loving mind.
To feel you all around me
And to take your hand along the sand,
Ah but I may as well try and catch the wind.
Continued.

When is Jesus coming back? No one will guess, despite the very significant mounting evidence for biblical prophesies about the 'last days' that cannot be ignored. Watch everyone try. We are told to take care over it; 'watch and pray.'

Jesus: "The wind blows where it wants to. You hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it is going. That's the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

I heard a speaker say that it is simply those who've believed in Jesus after his days on earth who receive a relationship with the Holy Spirit and receive his guidance in a full relationship with God . The Old Testament prophets, he said, must have heard some sort of strange audible voice that they gradually learned to discern to be the Lord's on account of the nature of the message given; he said they were not involved in the kind of close relationship with God that New Testament believers are. ( I think I disagree with him.)
We know that Samuel, as a very young child, heard what he felt to be a discernable, audible voice.
There is a great deal in the New Testament about how blessed we are to be living in grace, living in the forgiveness of God and enjoying a relationship with God through the help of the Holy Spirit who indwells us as believers in Christ.

It is clear that in the Old Testament the prophets and righteous Jews such as King David and King Solomon knew the anointing and blessing of the Holy Spirit, and had a very close relationship with the Lord. As Kings, they oversaw sacrifices that preceded and prefigured the final offering for our sins, the Heavenly Father's Lamb, Messiah Jesus, on the cross. They looked ahead, put their faith in Christ, about whom they prophesied, and received a relationship with the Lord and knew the guidance of the Holy Spirit in this way. King Solomon was a prophet King and a Judge who wrote many scriptures; he 'consulted the Lord'. Did he not.

Here, an article 'Jesus the Lamb of God.'

Two women came to Solomon claiming that a child was theirs. One was his true parent, the other falsely claimed the child was her own. Solomon decided the child should be cut in two, and half given to each one. No, cried the real mother; give him to her. So Solomon awarded the true mother the child.

King Solomon knew that the Heavenly Father's own son was to be the sacrifice for mankind's sin. Kind David prophesied it on many occasions.

Someone 'dancing in the Spirit' in Church is a beautiful thing. So is musical worship in the Spirit.

Very few Old Testament believers had the close relationship with the Father now available to all believers in Christ, apparently.
If you did anything remiss in respect of the Lord's tabernacle in those Old Testament days, the consequence was terrible. No one except the High Priest was allowed to enter the 'Holiest of All', or 'Holy of Holies', and this, but once a year.

King David, the prophet King, moved by the Holy Spirit, rescued the Arc of Covenant from his enemies and came dancing into Jerusalem. He was sneered for his dancing by Saul's daughter who saw him heading up the procession, and she was instantly struck down, (made infertile in her case) the bible tell us. (So he was dancing in the Spirit, was he not?) Whether she was simply in error, doing something remiss, or whether her attitude demonstrated contempt for the Spirit, is not stated.

In these times, to enter into a relationship with the Heavenly Father and receive his Holy Spirit, all you have to do is give him your heart. It's no sacrifice; he's provided the sacrifice. He gave his heart.

'For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.'

The Old Testament prophesies ' And I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' This was God's promise that Jesus would be his sacrificial lamb who would die on the cross as for our sins.

What we have to do is accept we need God's forgiveness of our sins, recognize Jesus as our Savior, and make the risen Jesus Lord of our lives. Then we become part of the bride of Christ, the Church of believers.

Old Testament prophets told Old Testament believers: It's no sacrifice to give the Heavenly Father your heart (in that we can't atone for our own sins); he's provided the sacrifice, his son will come to earth to be sacrificed for our sins on the cross, he is 'the Lamb of God .' 'Slain before the foundations of the world.'

Jesus said we must take up our cross and follow him if we wish to be his disciples. This article is good. We do this out of obedience to the Spirit; we follow Christ and give him our lives and submit to his will. We refuse our own will and desires; we can follow Christ through God's grace, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

It is God who made the sacrifice that enabled us to become Jesus' disciples. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Apostle Paul said:

'But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world'.
King James Bible

The false Messiah prophesied in the bible who will come, will be ' broken without hand' according to the scriptures. Daniel 8:25. He is not the one was who struck by the hand of God to take the penalty for our sins that we might be acceptable to the Holy Spirit if we repent of our sins and put our faith in him. That is the Lord Jesus Christ.
